1. Cookies and local storage

Cookies are small text files that a website saves in your browser. Local storage works in a similar way, but what it holds stays in the browser and is not sent to any server.

This site uses two technical tools, which need no consent, and one marketing tool, the Meta Pixel, which starts only if you accept it. The controller is AB Creations; full details are in the privacy policy.

2. Technical tools

  • ab_lingua, a cookie on our own domain. It is saved when you pick a language with the language switch, and it is used only by the site’s main address, to take you to the language you chose. It lasts 12 months.
  • cookie-consent, a local storage entry. It keeps your choice on this page, so you are not asked again on every visit. It stays in the browser until you change it or clear the site data.

3. Marketing: Meta Pixel

The Meta Pixel is a tool of Meta Platforms Ireland Limited (Facebook and Instagram). We use it to measure how our ads perform and to show relevant ads to people who have already visited the site.

It starts only if you accept marketing cookies. Before consent the site does not contact Meta’s servers in any way. With consent it records:

  • page visits;
  • completion of the configurator;
  • sending the site survey request from the configurator and sending the contact form.

The pixel saves the _fbp cookie in your browser, which lasts 90 days. If you are logged in to Facebook or Instagram, Meta may also use cookies on its own domains, as set out in Meta’s cookie policy.

The data may be transferred to the United States, to Meta Platforms, Inc., which participates in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

4. Analytics tools

The site uses no visitor analytics tool. If we adopt one, we will update this page and the consent request before switching it on.

5. Giving, refusing or withdrawing consent

On your first visit a bar asks what you want to accept. “Reject” closes it without switching on anything beyond the technical tools. You can change your mind at any time, here or through the “Cookie preferences” link at the bottom of the pages: withdrawing stops the pixel straight away.

You can also delete cookies already saved from your browser settings, and manage the ads you see from your Meta account settings.
