Microcement
Thin layer over an existing substrate, floors and walls.
Microcement goes over what is already there, with no demolition. A few millimetres thick, so door and threshold levels stay as they are.
It is applied by hand, layer over layer. The result is never as uniform as a tile: the clouding and trowel strokes are part of the material, and they are the reason it gets chosen.

On apartment blocks, residences and hotels we build a sample wall on site, at our expense. You see the real finish on the real substrate before committing the floors.
